That is possible.....p.o. claims its about 100 yrs old probably going by Patent date.

Most important.......... not cookie cutter, maybe even unique in a way.

L.E.D. lights and there are lots of little holes for light to come out.

You would not believe how many pieces of junk(meant in a kind way)

I looked at before this was found, some very pricey.

    This won't break the bank,Total Under $50.

I have problems with links on Sundays.

So will say fee bay has about a bazillion(a hundred bizillion) antique or vintage

lights of every description in the E B Motors section.

Its like anything else the more time and thought invested the more rewarding

    the result........... Generally.

Been looking at tail light possibilities on and off for several months.

When I found the tail light I was looking for a headlight.

    My requirements were cheap ,unusual,old.

Now that the tail light is pretty much taken care of ,

I looked at some old things sitting on the shelf and saw several pieces

in the collection that could be up-cycled to make a tail light.

My point you are limited by a closed mind<out side the square(for America the

box) thinking is required.,,,a teapot,an umbrella holder,a flowerpot or ??

Hit the second hand/antique store pick up a $5-10 item that catches your

imagination drill it paint polish or ???,,,,,,,, light it up little red ones we call tail

    lights.

    Big bright ones...........................

The Dr. promised to get my meds right this month,

but somehow I doubt it !!

I joke about my state of mental health, and that of others

because without a sense of humor a person could go insane.

Pictures Essex 1920's Headlight it will have to do

This is the only complete pre 1935 Headlight within budget.

Figured I better get the reflector just in case .

May work better with just clear lens, and look cool too.

Then inside would be easier to see.

    $28.93 feebay delivered.

Now do what do I do to make it ready to use ?

Can hardly believe the condition for the cost.

Anyone updated a pre sealed beam bucket ?

Do I modify the reflector for an H-4 bulb,

or gut it and put in 7 inch diamond cut 6024 .

Nice, my parents had an old Essex terraplane many years ago.

Unfortunately they didn't have the foresight to save me any headlights.

    That should look pretty cool.

    OCR,

Thats exactly what I was thinking.

I looked at some 'vintage' and 'antique' most were neither.

If the inside could be made to look neat and unique a clear lens for visibility.

If it looked like some of the stuff out there a dark or Limo tint or something else

    could hide the ugly.Name: images.jpeg

    I have a 1951 F-1 Ford P/U since 1990. It may never get done.

From here on is just BlaBlaBla .

    A dysfunctional family story.

We had a model A 1928 soft top coupe.

My brother put it up for sale cuz he was short money.

Drove from southern Az .to Santa Clarita just to pick up the cash and visit for an hour.

Never said a word to anyone in the family.

I lived less than a block away and happened by just as he handed the pink

to the guy,I was speechless got back in my car and went home.

Sold for $400........less than 1 weeks pay for me.

When my older bro. decided to sell his 1929 Austin American Bantam he did the same thing.

Only didn't hear about that till I asked where it went.

The worst one was my youngest brother he needed to borrow a car to drive to work

I lent him a 1964 Coupe De Ville ....3 mo. later got an impound notice over a month storage.... and $150 Tow.

I got my Birth Certificate when I left home.

    And I feel Blessed.

A nod to some talent on this Forum, just found these last night.

    Check the thread cx500steampunk.

Not overboard there is another thread here with a black cx steampunk not my cup.

    But very interesting.

Looks like someone read some of my private notes, before I even wrote them.

I have a few ideas that may or may not have been done.

Its so difficult to come up with anything really original.
