perfect. I'll order that stant up asap. Just seems nuts to spend 25 bucks on a thermostat

I picked up one of these at O reilly auto the other day. The clearances appear they will work just fine and it's the same temp and diameter as the stock CX thermostat. So anyone looking to replace theirs, it looks like this will be a cheap alternative....

I got my motor started with the paint process today. It's primed. I'll hopefully get to the black in the next few days.

Of course the honda plates were in poor condition so I refurbished them. Thankfully they are aluminum so it was easy.

Got the motor painted today. I'm still trying to decide if the valve covers need some contrast on them. The bolts will be different of course I wish there were some eurosport covers out there to be had. That would solve my dilemma. Also trying to decide what to do with the starter. My thoughts were to paint the body of it to match the motor and leave the ends silver. I haven't checked to see if it's aluminum or not. If it is I'll sand them down a bit and leave it raw.

Maybe we could do a different color plug wire? How easy are those to change? I mean I know putting them on the caps are easy but how easy to change them from the coils?

The shell of the starter is all aluminum.

Using a colored heat shrink tube over the ignition cable would be the simplest.
