Those could look really sharp in the final result. I'd leave them shiny, but it's hard for me to see the color scheme anyway. I bet they purr nicely with a bit of a "thwap thwap".

No more stable, no more ride for me.

it might be too quiet with the standard triumph silencers but I think I can drill out the rivets holding on the cap if necessary and make some sonic adjustments. I need help with the colour scheme as I don't really have one. There are some black bits, then I added a few gold bits to break up the black. Then there are one or two stainless bits. I think I will paint the central can section of the silencer black and leave the end and heat protectors silver. That will then hide the weld marks from the old bracket.
    As for the colour scheme-
Next week is decision time as I take the seat base to be upholstered and need to decide on the colour, which will then determine the tank colour. I like the idea of a red seat and tank but have concerns it will just be a mess and it might be best sticking to black with gold piping/lining. Any opinions?

Maybe just paint the whole thing in VHT Invisible. You'd be the talk of the town.

The seat is back from the fitters. They have made an ace job (Bootlegbikeseats Preston).

A small bit of progress. It's almost there but the last few jobs are taking a while.
