    Yianni's CX500 Scrambler

Hi there, here is my 1982 CX500 Scrambler build up, chopped up frame, GL650 rear swing arm, KTM adjustable rear shock, tank moved forward a bit and tilted up for nice straight line, Custom made part frame for 2016 Aprillia Capanord seat, Fat bars with new switches controls etc. Yamaha FZ LED headlight, 2001 Yamaha R1 USD forks, Kawasaki ZX9R front discs, 19' front wheel with 120 70 19 Avon adventure, rear wheel hybrid CX500 hub with CB900F outer rim 18x2,75" with 150 70 18 Avon adventure tyre, Stainless steel custom pipes with Acrapovic carbon Mufflers, Nano tech battery relocated under frame back of engine, all parts sand blast and custom painted, all bolts replaced with stainless steel ones, engine stripped and all seals - gaskets replaced sand blast and paint in polyurethane base 2 part paint.
Currently re-wiring everything to fit under seat and tank with no wires visible on the bike, keeping it lean and mean just like a Spartan warrior.
Not the fastest bike out there but is expected to handle very nice and to turn heads when out for a ride.
    What are your thoughts?

Solid lines bud, the bike looks great. Question, what was the though around the indent at the rear of the seat?

Ah yeah, I see the pipes in the last pic. They're not scrambler pipes though, I was expecting high pipes on a scrambler. I like the scrambler tires, but it's more of a street fighter than a scrambler!
I can't wait to see it finished off with the reflectors and other little minor missing bits!

What's that crossbar for that is mounted to the lower engine bosses, above the mufflers?

I can't wait to see how you mount the front fender, that's something I'd like to work out for my USD forks as well.

I like the naked look and ride style as well as the scrambler so I guess is a bit of a cross over, a frame to house the battery is what you see under the motor above the mufflers, still in progress but I hope to have everything finish in a month, I used the original CX fender support and modified the fixing arms to fit the USD's, reflector removed and a Spartan helmet graphic will go there, start the build 3-4 months ago, is coming along fast now.
