I will be purchasing a maintenance free battery, something I can install sideways under the seat.
    Still searching
Hey Devil Dog, I purchased a Napa Multi sport AGM battery, with 220 cold cranking amps.

I have started fabricating a pan for the frame below the seat, I'm hoping to place the battery in the cowl(hump) part of the seat.
I'm still trying to figure out which way would be best. Might start over again with a new piece.

The battery does fit in the seat space.

The previous owner painted it a flat black. He did a good job.

Didn't know they had non spillable batteries like that. My seat is flat underneath so had to buy a flat battery.

I might look for a smaller one.
I wonder what would be the least cranking amps we need to turn over a CX500
