    - a set of front blinkers

I saw that you bought a CX500 Turbo manual and not a CX650 Turbo.
You wouldn't think but Honda changed a lot between those bikes, most important are the electronic fuel injection and ignition.
Bought this manual, because its in German as well.
Got parcel from the States last week. A lot less extensive.

Regarding gas cap: it´s stuck and does not open. Sprayed in WD40, hope that will help.

It's interesting that this 650 has the gold wheels like the 500 did. The original 650 wheels were that style but silver.......at least in the US.

Apparently the European 650s got the goldies as well. I don't think I've ever seen the CX logo pressed into the seat either.

So, does this bike run at this point? Looks like it's in pretty fair shape.

Its a Euro- Bike. So gold wheels, gold fork, km speedo and turbo script in mirror writing.

First registration was in June 1987 in Germany, a man born in 1944.
The bike then was sold to a lady in April 1992. She was 28 (!) then and drove it 3 1/2 years until Nov. 1995.

In 1994, at 59 tkm, a very expensive engine and gearbox overhaul had been made.

Then, at 63 tkm, she put it into the shed at her mother´s house just as it was, married, got children and ..........forgot it.

She sold it to me now and is still dam´ pretty.
Sad, i dont met her in those days. Must have been a joy to see her on that bike.

Bike is not running. But engine is not stuck.

I asked her, how that bike drove. Answer was: Good, but I have no comparision, that was my first and last bike.

It is a very nice bike Ulrich....these are old bikes.....so it is almost impossible to find one in perfect condition. Your bike does seem to be very complete, which is a very good thing. When these bikes are parked outside for many years, that is when damage happens. The guys on the forum here will have ideas how to get it running.....old fuel needs to be removed, fuel injectors might need cleaning, gas tank might be rusty inside, brakes and clutch hydraulics might need to be rebuilt. All this work you can do yourself if you have the time and tools. The good thing is these motors seem to be quite good.

Awesome - and a bonus to know the history! This bike will be a blast to ride, I was fortunate enough to have a friend who let me ride his 650 turbo in the country. He said "don't hold back Thrash-it, that's what the power is for". Very fast and fun.
