    Gas cap rubber/seal

The seal from my spare gas cap is cracked and broken. It has become over the years very hard and now it's gone forever. Anyone know if this is still available or do I have to make one myself? Looked everywhere on internet but no success. Name: rubber dop (2).JPG

They are still available. I just picked one up from my local Honda dealer a week or so ago (they did have to order it).

    A partnumber would be helpful

Found this on Ebay. Aftermarket gas cap that fits the turbo. Can take out the seal for my original gas cap. But it's an expensive solution for only a piece of rubber.

Then why didn't you post it instead of comment?

Take a look at this Dutchturbo - your bike isn't officially listed as compatible - but it sure looks close and it is from the same era of bikes.

Because it is not listed in the partsmanual and I really don't have the faintest idea where to find it.

I found this image from a fuel cap with the mentioned 17682-679-013 seal

Thanks Pim and Elrodicater for you search but it isn't the right one. So I removed a rubber from another gas cap which looked better which is also dried-out but still in shape. I measured it and it is 74 mm out and 39 mm inside. It also has a specific shape as you can see on the pictures. Notice the ribs or veins in the rubber. MobileAZN, did you order only the rubber or did you order the complete gas cap?
