    Replacement fuel pump?

My CX500 Turbo is having some serious issues with the fuel pump locking up. I would like to replace it but having trouble finding a good replacement pump. I know there have been some suggestions before but I can't seem to find the threads. What is the best replacement? There anything that bolts right in or am I looking at making some modifications to rig something up? Thanks for the help!

I used a Denso 951-3003 from Amazon, but its available at most major retailers. Around 85 dollars US. Its a bolt in replacement and comes with everything you need. Here is an older link that used the same pump.

For the fuel pump I used the Denso 951-3003 that others have referred to on here. https://www.amazon.com/Denso-951-300.../dp/B002KDZZZA It will run you about $80 and you can even order them from Wal-Mart! The pump is not an exact bolt on. It does include a foam sleeve that allows it to snugly fit the Honda mounts. The fuel fittings match very close and do not need to be modified, just put all of the seals back on properly. You will have to clip the old wiring harness and crimp on the two ends they provide to power up the pump. Seal with heat-shrink and some quality electrical tape.

Thanks! I should now have one on the way to me. The worrying thing is that most places seem to be out of that pump. Makes me think that model is probably being phased out or something. Amazon will have it to me in a week or so though. So till then I have plenty more I need to work on

No worries about getting more of these pumps, they fit a bunch of mid 80's Japanese cars so they will be available for the next 100 years.
