I see one problem with your bike.

It is not in my garage..

    Great looking bike.

Here's some detail pix of the 83 CX 650 Custom I didn't post the tank as it looks great and no dents. Please tell me what you see and opinions on condition based on what you observe so I know what to look for. Rear tire is bald! Front rim has a dent. It is a 2 1/2 hour drive to go look at it so I don't want to waste my time if it's a piece

    Thanks,

    Terry

I don't know anything about these 650s aside from what I read here but I think the consensus would be to grab it while you can.

They don't pop up every day and the price is better than right even for a "parts" rig.

Not much traffic in this section I think, might want to ask in "general discussion"?

    Good luck.

If this is your previous ride, what did you do to it? Did you sell it, and if so, for how much?

BTW nice job on the 450!

Totally disassembled bike stripped and repainted everything including engine. stripped and polished all aluminum and clearcoated it. Bought tank and seat from Omar's DTR, new rubber and about 600 hours of wax on wax off. Sold on eBay with 129 bidders for $4000
