Hi, all. I was toying with the idea of a Silver Wing jacket patch. Actually this is one that I drew up many years ago when my GL was still relatively new. I'm trying to see if there is any interest in these before I consider placing an order for just one (read expensive). This is just a drawing at the moment, so if anyone has any suggestions (like color, adding text, shape, etc.), it can still be easily edited. The only thing that I'm pretty firm about is that the wing itself & the border (if any) will be a silver metallic embroidery. So please give me your input.

Once the design of the patch has been finalized, and the price established, I will be asking for pre-orders just like I did for the HTTA patches. I think that worked out pretty well for everyone, and everyone who participated in that buy can vouch that I won't take your money & run.

Speaking of the HTTA patches... after I ran out of the first buy, there were a few members who indicated that they were interested in another buy, but not anywhere near enough commitment to do the purchase. So if you're interested in more of those...speak up. I will need at least 35 people to do the order. At last count, I had only four.

As a proud owner of a (hopefully soon reassembled and running) Silverwing, count me in for two. I like the design just the way it is. Nice work! Also, if I'm not one of the four for the HTTA patch, I'm in for that as well.

Just to be clear, I am thinking this to be a rather large patch intended for the back of your jacket. About 6" across at the widest point. If the majority of the interested folks would prefer something of a different size, that could be considered. Perhaps someone could set up a poll or tell me how to do it.

Whicker how many of the HTTA patches are you interested in? attached a picture in case you hadn't seen 'em

Not to pick nits, and certainly not aware if this has already been pointed out and addressed, but that should read 'CX' as opposed to 'GX'.

Oh, yeah, forgot about that. It was a mistake on the proof art that was corrected before the patches were made.

Good stuff. I'd hate to be the bearer of unwelcome gnus.

I will take 2 of the HTTA ones please.

I have a CX so a GL patch wouldn't work for me!
