    The New Format...

doesnt appear to have done anything about reducing the spammers...? I appreciate that a lot of effort goes into administering the forum , but it seems odd to me that a major change in the format hasnt addressed the one outstanding issue that causes the most anguish?

I am pretty happy with the rest of the new look though - well done .

I don't think it's all done yet. Hopefully just the tip of the iceberg which most we shouldn't see.

The spammers that you're seeing now are the ones that registered before the site change
the ones that are trying to register now - can't.

The admin / mod team are busy backing away at the spammers. Please be patient. It will be a rough ride for the next few weeks but should not be much of an issue by then.

Please help us by continuing to report spam by clicking on the triangle with the exclamation point in it. This is located in the lower left corner of the posts.

The B-25 is getting loaded for a run on the spammers!! :-)

So... Steve... do you have mod powers at the moment?

    It's frustrating seeing spam I can't delete.

    NOOOOOO! NOT REPLACED!!!!!!!!
Contact NickJ (an administrator) and let him know that you would still like to be a moderator!
He wants all the moderators that "lost" their moderating abilities after the software change to contact him.
For some reason mine and Joel's mod status didn't change & the one's who lost theirs haven't contacted him to let him know whether or not they still wanted to be a moderator.

    PLEASE CONTACT HIM!!!!!!!!!

Dave F, Larry, and myself also lost privileges.

Remember when I emailed you about the Joel and Steve having Moderator under there title under the old forum where as the other 4 of use were hidden. I have a feeling during the migration the two names that said Moderator continued and the others were dropped. Charles said to give it a while and it would all get set up again.
