A CX500 embodies purity of spirit, it stands alone at the apex of motorcycling, it is an icon of industry, and ... I think I may have had too much rum.

The CX500 street tracker RGK entry has had a second link added to a different site that isn't experiencing database problems. I presume that will sort itself out, but no harm in having a second link.

Thanks for the heads up with those two.

Haven't had as much time this last week due to moving house and there's not yet an internet connection at the new place, so my efforts to get the triple bypass articles done have been somewhat hampered... and there's two featured builds waiting to be finished too. Ah well. What has been done:

Cobram's page completely revamped to better suit his needs - it had broken due to a CMS update a while back, so I have separated it from the content management system entirely and it's a separate html/php entity now. I'm going to re-do the stator page in that vein as well later on in the year.

    A couple of the steps of the bypass articles were done;

    Removing the impeller cover
    Removing the impeller
    Removing the cam plate

All of the articles will require going over once they're all up to double check that everything necessary is included, so any feedback is welcomed in the meantime!

Also out of personal interest, Cloudflare presents info that I had never bothered to track before... with the current traffic the site servers four and a half thousand CX/GL photos up to visitors every day. That's a hell of a lot of CX enthusiasts worldwide!

OK, it's been a bit of a break due to moving house... that felt like it took forever...

    New articles:

Static Timing Procedure + assessment for TI (overview)
Checking the resistance of the pickups
    Static Timing Procedure
    Checking the air gap

Still working on the new featured builds but wanted to get those out of the way... really trying to make headway into the remaining triple/quad bypass articles.

    A new featured build: Reborn

I finally got around to making a Facebook page for it, though there's not much on there yet... still new to Facebook.

Replacing the front engine cover and what you should check before doing so (O-rings etc.): Replacing the front engine cover

I checked the clearance for an aftermarket oil pressure switch in terms of width.

More writeups coming soon - slowly making headway through the triple bypass list, though I will do a short detour to rebuilding the CX650E forks.

Replacing the oil pump O-rings and reassembling.

    Reinstalling an oil pump.

A closer look at the Honda Special Tool for driving in the crank cap and dis/assembling the final shaft.

A closer look at the Honda Special Tool for removing or installing the main crank bearings.

Still no internet at home as they keep on putting the installation date back, so fewer articles than usual for now.

It goes without saying, but it is important that it is said. JC, your hard work has provided an excellent reference source and is very much appreciated.
