    Thoughts on these valves

    Anyone here have any experience with these engine valves from Germany {keyboard appears to have lost question mark}

    Made in Japan apparently but I don't see a brand. Price and postage to Oz seem reasonable.

    New link in case the above dosnt work

    cx500 valves | eBay

    any thoughts on those dimensions? the only valves i have are pretty burnt up and the heads measure slightly smaller, but the stem size looks right and the length seems right

    I'm trying to find if there is another valve out there that is used on another bike (or better yet an automobile...) that is the same and could be used on our bikes, i tried searching alternative CX valves but didnt come up with much, i swear i saw someone mention using CB750 valves... but who knows

    79-83 Honda EXHAUST (4-Valve models) Valves CB750 CB750K CB750F CB750C CB750SC

    If so,yes I do see you're in Oz.

    The prices there are so high ther on your feebay,

    it may be worth it to ship from U.S.Cx650T valves - intake and exhaust

    It says 650 in title but #3 & 6 are what you want.

    well that made things easier

    I bought some NOS guides and valves off of fleabay, i can measure and compare and then toss them on an optical comparator and measure the tulip and retainer groove features

    I'd appreciate that. Thank you.

    But, I expect these valves will be smaller. The 750 cylinders are about 180 cc, the CX 250 .... and very oversquare.

    You can get the question mark to type by holding down the alt key, and typing 063 on the number pad of the keyboard.

    Search the forum, search the Wiki.
    Its rare that an original problem develops in a 30 year old machine.

    Your question has probably already been answered.
