    I have some. They don't have the conical nipple on top, so I've wrapped the wires coming through or used rtv in the center after installing. I'll see if I can get some pics.

    Just for giggles, I was perusing and came across this pretty clear picture of one and how it differs from your ordinary grommet. Things look a bit out of place here though, not sure why......

    I was able to ressurect my worn out old grommet with a drill and plenty of RTV, but if I couldnt have done that, I probably would have gone at a piece of thick rubber sheet with razor blades and dremel until I had something close enough, then rtv'd the rest.

    Here are some pics. 10 bucks set (2) grommets includes ship to the lower 48. PM for ship price international. These went to the UK this morning. High-Temp silicone.

    So it seems I also need a grommit.....but in South Africa....lol..
    Thanx for that pic of the real thing ramprat..
    If I get or fabricate one in some way..how would one fit the grommit?
    Do you have open the stator cover..and loosen the wire at one end.....which end....to then fit the grommit over the wire in some way?

    Any hope for a grommit in SA?

    i havent even gotten back to the gromet yet since, the bike has nothing past 1/2 throttle. once i get that worked out ill look for the gromet again
