There are those who have and those who haven't yet....

Today I joined the have group. I was making a right turn, sun behind me, sunvisor in the helmet down, didn't notice the loose gravel in the corner and went down. Broken front turn signal , bent mount for the rear signal on the right side. Bike seemed to ride alright after that. Be carreful out there, rubber side down.

I have had that experience, no fun.
There are only 2 kinds of riders, those who have fallen and those who are going to fall.
In the olden days I could get my bike up from a get off, not sure I could today, as we get older
we get weaker and wiser, some wise man once said.

Thanks all. I'm fine. ATTGAT pays off. I have the parts I need to repair the bike. Parts bikes come in handy.

That used to be an every time out thing.

Haven't gone down while going more than a

    crawl in 48 yrs.

If and when I go down again in a big way

will most likely be my last.

    'Eager" 1979 CX500C Maroon.
Name is derived from the sound of this engine at highway speeds.
    Like its eager to go.
had a Horse that was "Eager"
    But didn't sound the same.
    So I called him "Duke"

Never been down but today I worked on my truck for a few hours in the dirt with rust falling in my eyes. Does that count?

When a minor mishap happens to me, I thank my guardian angel for the warning and use more caution in the future. I'm glad your OK.

PS--stitch, you could go blind doing that
