Stator/Regulator molex connector replacement (3 yellow wires)

I've noticed my regulator connector has started to go melty. It's time to replace it before it fails.... but I can't find a replacement kit anywhere. They used to be all over eBay, but I can't find a one now. Anyone have a source for these?

    Thanks!

    Charles.

    CC,
Not sure this helps, but when I bought a new G8 stator from David Silver, it came with a new 3-wire connector that matched the Honda original, so apparently there's a source somewhere.

FWIW, Honda sells a connector repair kit (part number 31105-ML8-305) containing both connector halves and heat shrink tubing. I believe it is still available.

    This is just an opinion

i believe having 3 wires in 1 plug

    of dubious repute (high resistance)

is a constant source of problems

    on various models and years

should be abandoned to a better

3 singles or a triple would use any

of the following before the Honda part

    or solder

2 AWG Gauge Wire Coupler Joiner Terminal Butt Connector Screw Barrel 10 pack | eBay

    there are these on feebay
25 #10 12-10 Ga AWG Gauge Non-Insulated Wire Ring Terminal Connector Uninsulated | eBay

LOL, just got an engine from another member that has the flat 4 trailer connector. Looked really odd to me, but I guess it works?

I ordered the Honda repair kit, but now I'm thinking that trailer wiring harness is a great idea!
