    Value of a 1982 GL500 Silverwing

I have a 1982 Honda GL500 Silverwing in excellent condition with around 116,000 miles on it. Anyone have an idea of what this bike would sell for on the open market? The color of the bike is Silver.

WOW, sounds like a record contender. Condition and service documentation might be key to getting more that a couple hundred US.

Need way more info to give you a accurate price . Got my Silverwing for a Six pack of beer, bike had 95,000 kilometers and a speed wobble. Now would not part with it for 3000 because of all the work I put into it. Highest price I have heard of is around 4500 for mint or restored to mint condition bike. Cheers

    I've seen 14,000 Mi. bikes I wouldn't give $150

Parked under a Eucalyptus free 14yrs.

I've seen 100,000+ mi. bikes that were immaculate.

Garage kept meticulously maintained and loved .

That I would be embarrassed to offer less than

    $ 1700-2250.

Depends on area and condition more than Miles.

My Interstate has over 60k runs as smooth

    as my 6000 mi. cx.

as far as 116k being high mileage contender

200 thou more will put it in the ballpark

    maybe.

Back when Volvo was offering a new Volvo to anyone that had 1 million miles on there Volvo I thought, huh? Then I figured any motor vehicle can do that but you may have to end up replacing everything at sometime or other..., doesn't really make it the same to me somehow.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say $300 till pictures and history show up. If it hasn't has a new cam chain the inside of the engine probably looks like a glitter factory.

Had a 78 Olds. Regency In our family sold

    @ a little short of 500,000 1 in frame

1 Trans repair o-ring special bolt seals.

Engine used a qt. every 1000-1200 Mi.

trans needed an internal leak of fluid for

    reverse only (o-ring)

A matter of PM and a little love.

    Without maintenance records Inspection

and visual there's no way to tell.

could be a slab of beer($20) to $2000

You haven't given enough Info to tell.
