    Borrowing an ultrasonic cleaner

    Hi All,

I'm from Western Mass (Northampton), and I need an ultrasonic cleaner for a couple of days to clean my carbs. It seems like a shame to buy one if I'm only going to use it once, so I was wondering if there's anyone in my area who'd be willing to let me borrow theirs. I'd be happy to reimburse people for any inconvenience.

    Thanks!

Yeah, I guess you're right...I already bought one though, so no longer an issue

I ended up with this one: New Stainless Steel 2 L Liter Industry Heated Ultrasonic Cleaner Digital w/Timer | eBay

I should be ok with 2L, and it was cheaper than the Harbor Freight one. I'm hoping I can just resell it once I'm done for a reasonable amount of what I paid for it.

Is that cleaner big enough to get both carbs in it with out separating them from the bracket that hold them together?

At only 7 inches tall, no. One carb body barely fits in the HF model.

As holyman said, no. I was planning on separating them anyways, so it didn't matter to me, but it's not even close to fitting both carbs at once.
