Is anyone else excited about the new 2017 Rebel 500?

Seriously, this bike looks pretty amazing.

45 horsepower, 408lbs curb weight, brake discs front and rear, mid controls, and $5999. (For $500 more it comes with ABS). Ergos and power make me think of a modern-day CX500. I mean.... I'd ride that. I'd customize the hell out of it too. Just looking at it, I think "woah, that looks like fun!"

Very interesting wheels! The core looks a bit like a Ducati. Nice tight lines, low seat comfort yet beefy stance.

I see two problems. Chain drive and no chick seat.

I think it's the same mechanicals as the CB500 brothers which all get very good reviews.

Since I have very long stick-legs and a small body, I think I'd be better off with the F or X model. Yes, they're tempting.

Who wants to pay me $3000 for my CX500C? I'll even include a free tutorial on what kind of oil to use. ;-)

    I stand corrected: 2.96 gallons.

meh, basically honda version of the Yamaha Bolt, Kawasaki Vulcan S, Harley Sport 500, etc, etc. Nothing really groundbreaking. Not really practical either
