we are all given sh*t in life, but some of us learn to turn it into fertilizer and grow from it, and some us try to fling it on others like monkeys.

The day before yesterday we had to repair the rear drum brake of our Renault.
    (Brake cylinders and linings)

Murphy was sleeping or he had a different place to do his work.

To repair the brake cylinder we had to loosen the brake lines.
So we had to bleed all the four brakes(lines, rear and front.

In the meantime Murphy had awakened or has done his work elsewhere.....
...... and the last bleeder screw broke trying to open the line.

Murphy has special laws for Renaults, at least the old ones. I think they might be the same ones as for Fiats. It might just be that each of them is followed by "and again."

These apply to every project I've been involved in at work for the last twenty years. I have found, though, that if you can yell louder and are more threatening to management than they are to you, many of the problems disappear quickly.

And then there is Smith's Law: "Murphy was an optimist."

There are special Murphy's who are taught at a private parochial college in the Irish hills They know precisely the ten seconds before the imbibing soul has reached alcoholic threshold, and knows exactly when to evoke the eruption, coordinated to effectively delay the finger over the mouth long enough to cause a very violent facial explosion of ungodly amounts of visceral semi-fluids.
