    I am looking for a factory shop manual for a Canadian model CX650E. I have the European CX500 E manual with the 650E supplement, but it does not address some of the Canadian features. Will buy or if one is available to download I will take that too. Thanks in advance.

    Do you either of you have contact info for Kathy (GL700Wing) from Australia? I believe at one time she had the shop manuals for sale on CD...



    Just a shot in the dark that may or may not help...

    I figured you were going to bail me out with a Canadian spec manual. I have an English language version of the 500E with the 650E supplement. The manual says it is for the ED (European Direct Sales model) for the UK, Europe, South Africa, & Oz. The most obvious difference is the 650E supplement specs the engine to use 35mm carbs, but mine has the 39mm carbs. With this difference in mind, what are the rest of the tuning specs? I have a spare set of carbs that are also 39mm, so I feel pretty sure they are original. Were there any camshaft changes, valves, heads, etc. I can't imagine Honda taking a bike that already ran pretty well as 650 twin and then just changing the carbs that drastically. Any insight would be helpful. Anyone up in Canada have access to a dealer's manual library, I would really like an answer.

    Found the full 650E manual on Ebay in Germany. Bought it, ouch. I will see if it has anymore info than the supplement to the CX500E manual. I will try to help get it posted if it is any value.

    The CX650E Honda Factory Shop Manual should be on Blindstitch's website (below his name on every posting he makes) to download for free. If it isn't there, send me an email and I will arrange to have it uploaded to the site so you can download it for free.
