I could use a CX500 Deluxe emblem from the left panel on a 1980 CX500 Deluxe. I'll gladly Pay Pal for expenses. PM me if you can help.

No need for me on that count. If the matter has been resolved, just edit your own post. Bottom right is a tab to edit. Besides, if there is a member who supplied you, perhaps they'd like to be recognized.

Indeed Joel, RVP3, thank you for the better than the old one side cover. Thomas, you deserve a big thank you for the oval grommets, which help keep my covers nice and snug, not flying into God knows where, lol

Victor has sourced everything I need and is getting it all organized for me, so a big 'thank you' to him. Thanks also to Condo and Fogelsvillejoe for their replies.

Hello all. Does anybody have a spare boot that connects the carb to the cylinder? The right one on my '78 CX500 is in pretty bad shape.
    Thanks,

There is a guy who posts on the forum who "remanufactures" the inlet manifolds. Do a search for inlet boot , he is sure to appear.

I'm thinking about picking up beat GL650 from a friend. Cheap. I think murrayf has pretty well talked me out of an engine swap into a '78 frame I have, so I'm starting to look into repairing the GL. How hard would it be for me to find a good set of forks for this bike, and how much can I expect to pay if I can find them? Some very serious pitting/rust has rendered them useless. I'm just doing some research in advance of buying the bike... what I learn might make me say forget it.
