I am looking for a good usable metric speedometer, that will fit my 1981 CX500C. Also looking for chrome headlight trim ring that holds the headlight in for a 1978 Plastic Maggot headlight and dash assembly. Thanks Ken

anyone have an extra cable that goes from starter motor to solenoid laying around? its the heavy gauge cable that's about 12-15" long.

I would think you could find comparable cable/wire and connectors at any electric motor, or auto part store for fairly cheap. It's not a complex set up.

True but it wouldn't already be the length I need, with the connectors that I need already soldered on

I Never said it was rocket science. Last I checked , this thread was for people who are looking for parts. I am looking for a part and I posted a request. I don't see why the peanut gallery has to chastise me.
To me it's much easier asking for that particular part because it is already done. I understand I could make one. I don't want to. I have clearly said that already. Sure I could go and get some 6 gauge cable and cut it and solder ends in it- but the ends could cost $5 each at the hardware store and the cable would be $15, plus I'd have to buy a new bottle of gas for my torch to solder it on. So as I mentioned before, I'm looking for a cable that someone might not need and I am willing to pay for it.

All I meant was you may find exactly what you need at an auto parts store with min. effort/expense. If you want to buy/ship used cable knock yourself out. enough from the peanut...

On the other hand you would end up with a new cable for not much more than the cost of postage for someone to send you a 30+ year old one...
