I've waffled on selling this over the past couple of years, but I just don't ride it as much as I should and I hate to see it just sitting in my garage when it should be out on the road. See a series of photos here:

This bike was built by Larry Cargill and I bought it several years ago after a few attempts at crafting a CX from a couple of parts bikes. After putting all the components in a pile I realized it was way beyond my capabilities and asked Larry for some advice. His advice turned out to be to buy this beautiful example that he put together. The only change I've made was also actually crafted by Larry. I didn't like the limited fuel capacity of the stock Custom tank, so I found a Deluxe tank and Larry proceeded to make it gorgeous by adding the cap assembly that I liked from a custom, and then painting it a glossy black like the rest of the bike. Now the 4.5 gallon capacity makes it much more enjoyable on long rides in the valley or mountains here.
You can see Larry's complete story on fitting the tank to this bike here:

It runs very well and I have had no problems with it, other than not riding it enough to justify keeping it (my other bike is my 1986 Aspencade).

I'm asking $2500 and am posting it here first before I place it on other media. I know there are a few Forum members who have been looking for something like this. Feel free to ask questions of me, and although Larry hasn't seen it for a while he can probably answer questions as to the build. Just because of the extra headaches, I'm not looking to ship it anywhere... hopefully someone reasonably local will ride this away!

    Thanks!

    Three basic rules:

    1. You only need two tools in life - WD-40 and duct tape. If it doesn't move and should, use the WD-40. If it shouldn't move and does, use the duct tape.
    2. If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem.
    3. The reason the British drink warm beer is because they use Lucas refrigerators.
