WTB CX500 front forks; non air assist

I have a 1981 CX500 custom. Looking to change out my forks to non air assist. If anyone has an extra pair please let me know.

    Thanks,

No. Want to replace the forks entirely. I have a 78 wheel. Will need to change axle. Also have a dual port caliper set up those forks.

What size are your existing forks? 33 or 35.

"81 should be 33mm, i believe the went to 35mm in '82 on cx's. just picked up a '79 C and it has non air forks. My '81 D had 33mm air assist forks.

'81 and '82 Custom front ends are identical. See Chapters 24 and 25 in the FSM.

If your Custom has a leading front axle, it's 35mm. The deluxe retained the Standard 33mm forks through its last year in 1981.
