Straight forward question here. What is the thread size for attaching the nipples for the vacuum gauges to sync the crabs? Looking at a sync kit from Bikebandit that comes with 6mm threads, but I also saw elsewhere that the H0ndas may take a 5 mm. Have to work on the carbs on a Yamaha Virago so I figured I would go ahead and get the tools needed.

    I'm pretty sure it's 5mm. But I'll go check.

The screw that goes into that hole is SCREW, PAN (5X8).

    So 5mm it is.

Thanks, that is what I was thinking, the kit comes with 6 mm so I need to grab to extra set of 5mm's.

I went to the hardware store and bought a length of 3/16" aluminum tubing, threaded it with a 5mm die of appropriate pitch, put a nut on the threaded end and then a small O ring. Made a couple about 2-3" long. Just thread them into the holes and gently snug the nut. CHEAPER than buying them and works fine.
