Yellow lead from CDI to coil giving weak spark?

Hey folks, bike wouldn't start so I went back through the checklist to double check everything and noticed the left cool had weak spark. Swapped yellow and pink and then rift cool had weak spark. I ran the stator test and everything came back in spec. Underlying problem is the bike won't start, but will turn over. Any ideas? Do I need a new Cdi?
    Thanks a million!

How did you verify the left cool had a weak spark? Visual? Against the vulva cover blot?

When you swapped the yellow and pink then the "weak spark" moved to the rift cool. How did you check the "strength" of the spark on left and rift cools?

If the stator figures came back in spec it sounds like the CDI unit is losing a side and a Raesan or ignitech will sort you out.

    What were the figures?

I put each plug on my tongue. And one made my hair stand up more than the other. I try visual next time do you have a link for the vulva test???

    Anyways.
I ran the numbers a couple weeks ago and never recorded them. I'll run them tommorow and get back to you.
Thanks very much for helpful responses.

I used to be an advocate of tongue testing for spark.

Not personally you understand .... but if you can convince someone it's the way to go it's pretty funny.

Sorry, just trying to use the terms from the original description and question.

You can never be sure on the background or how a check was done.

If desired, I can easily abandon all questions and any potential assistance.

The origin of the poster is New Hapshire, USA. I suspect his (assumed) native language is English. Not all people know the proper terms for parts. I was using the same terminology to remain within the same reference.

It does not become divisive until an inflamatory question is posed as Nolimitz offered or technical skills are denegrated.

Do as you wish. There is little to be gleaned from this to solve the issue. No information has been offered to clarify how the spark strength was determined as weak.

Such as......was it grounded on the valve cover? or How was it grounded? Resistance check run on the coils? Perhaps the resistors were checked or not checked? What is condition of the plug wire insulation or boots?

Prior to that information being extracted. I had judgement passed on me, only to piled on by 2 other likes....... Shortly after, job skills were brought into the "discussion".

Now, all are on my A55.
