After 3 emails to DSS, with 6 photos showing why it is bad and my needing another one. They have one on the way, I'm sending the old one back to them, and they will be sharing with their supplier to correct this issue for the future. Let's hope other's in need of a stator and choosing David Silver gets a good one the first time. Matt at DSS was reluctant at first but didn't quit learning about the issue. Good Company !!!

This problem has occurred at times.

if its not excessive removing a little aluminum(from case) to

    make clearance works.

If you're not "comfortable" with this.

    ................Well now you'v.e been there.

All stator suppliers are not equal.

    'Eager" 1979 CX500C Maroon.
Name is derived from the sound of this engine at highway speeds.
    Like its eager to go.
had a Horse that was "Eager"
    But didn't sound the same.
    So I called him "Duke"

That's correct, Gary is Custom Rewinds. The WIKI has a write up on his biz with numbers. His direct cell can be had if you PM me or Murray.
