Also, if you can't find carb dip, soaking your carbs in pinesol works surprisingly well (once you've removed all the parts outlined Larry's book)

Ok ill do my best to set the time out and get the book and go through it for sure, so many talk so highly of it!

I know for sure the jets are not mixed took pictures and everything before, the rebuild kit i bought for the bike came with new jets and needle seat (+ gaskets). I've rebuilt plenty of carbs before but this was my first dual carb rebuild i have done. I've cleaned them out twice now and did everything but soaked them, don't really have as good of a shop as a i did back home.

The biggest thing that is throwing me for a loop with it is that the bike runs but it keeps ramping up and dropping rpms on its own, which means its getting fuel and air somehow when it shouldn't. If you got any other ideas id love to hear them, thank you!

You are better off reusing the original jets and air mix needles. The ones in your kit are most likely crap compared to the originals.

Billy, while you are waiting for the book, look in the WIKI link below for a summary write up on carbs by Larry, it has some snapshots and suggestions that eventually became part of the book.

    . Good afternoon.
I have a similar problem with my CX 500/80 Carburetors.
You know of someone who repair or clean these Carburetors with warranty.
    There are new to buy?

these carbs are not difficult to clean - if you have access to an ultrasonic cleaner. Without one they are a bitch . You cannot clean CV carbs with a piece of wire and a can of carb cleaner.

There are several folk who clean carbs for others , expecting a warranty might be a bit too much of an ask though. Post in the classified forum.
