    Low jet emulsifying tube

    Hello friends,

I am following larry's carb book and am on everyone's favorite step:

Removing the low jet emulsifying tube with an easy out

Tomorrow I'm going to try and find a high quality easy out tool (I live in Canada, so I don't have access to harbour freight)

I am preparing for the worst just in case, and have looked online where to source replacement low emulsifying jet tubes. I think these might be them:

    16165449771 Holder,needle Jet Honda - 16165-449-771

Can anyone confirm? If not, is there a different source?

Your first two posts show the correct part ..... unless you are actually looking for an idle jet.

Your third post shows N433 - 36 at the bottom. These are the idle jets and if that's what you are after you need the #45.

If those pictures are of the part he needs, why is he trying to remove it with an easy-out? Perhaps he is looking for the slow or pilot jet. That's the one under the rubber bung. On later carbs it can be removed with a screwdriver but not on these carbs.

My bad, the idle jet pictured is a screw in. hard to see on my monitor.

I actually don't think there's a source for the pressed in variety.

You won't be finding a "high quality " easy out at Harbor Freight so I wouldn't stress about there not being one in Canada. Good luck with your carb clean, hope it all comes apart easily.
