    Speedometer...again.

I'm on my third cable. The last 2 have lasted less than 20 kms. The one prior to that lasted about 100kms.

    Ugh.

Over the winter, I tried adding a little 3-in-1 oil to the "input" on the back of the speedometer itself. Seems to have made no difference. Kameron installed a different gear/hub. No difference.
Possible the gauge itself is toast?

Are you lubricating the cables before installing them? Is there a kink or bind in the routing? (make sure you check with the suspension at its extremes of travel)

Other than that the only possibility is that something is seizing inside the speedo.

Well, think it's the speedometer. Just took another look on my lunch, and the end of the cable fell in my hand.
That's 3 breaks, in 3 different locations. So, guessing not a kink in the cable, rather a problem in the gauge.

    Crappy!
