    Cooling fan coming on?

When does the cooling fan kick on on these bikes? I can't say I have ever felt it blowing and surely can't hear it over the motor. My bike have never got hot, gets to running temp on the gauge and that is it.

It starts at cranking speed. It's a mechanical fan attached to the nose of the crankshaft.

Shows how unobtrusive and effective the OeM mechanical fan is, don't it?

On models like mine with an electric fan, I sometimes think it would be nice to see another idiot light indicating that the fan is on, due to me being.....never mind.

If You don't watch the temp gauge you also will not watch an idiot light.
So i would prefer a loud horn.

Coming home at night I think the horn should have an ON/OFF switch, ....with an idiot light, maybe

I d not read much here. I don't ride the bike a ton and there is nothing wrong with it so I don't come for help for things either.
I guess I will have to look closer at it when running. The thing is so encased in there I have not looked hard enough to see if working.
