    Ok, just for the heck of it, I installed a pre-owned igntion coil on the right side, but made no change whatsoever. However, the coil I replaced has a crack from the front to the back~ so I felt Ok at least changing it out.
    Now the decision is like Murray said, and going by the findings checking the stator out, points to it. I guess that's it for now until I can make an educated decision on what to buy.
