Had mine done last year by Larry. Well worth the cost. He turned them around in two weeks.

Get em polished also. Not that much extra, they sure look sweet!

I think I spent $300 altogether. Sounds like alot of money but I spent a whole summer with a rebuild kit trying to get mine to work. Had them in and out of the bike three times.

By the time I gave up, $300 was looking dirt cheap. Larry's carbs ran awesome right out of the box.

Hey Excel, where in WA do you live? I just finished mune and I have Larry's book. If you're not too far away, I can walk you through it. It really isn't too hard. What kind of bike do you have? Not trying to steal Larry's business- just depends on how quick you want to finish and whether you want to learn how to do it hands on...

The PO of my bike had the carbs rebuilt by Larry. So far all my bike issues are NOT carb related, and honestly, I am hoping it will stay that way for a long time.

    Hi Tim,

Well, i'm up in Sedro Woolley, so it may not be as convenient as I had hoped. Do you have a rebuild kit or parts? Do you have it off yet to get a sense of what kind of shape it's in? Depending on how dirty it is could take awhile to strip it, clean it, etc. Larry suggests using the ultrasonic cleaner (which I have)but that pretty much requires the carbs come apart to fit. Not sure what Larry's turn around time is, but he may be able to just swap you a rebuilt which may be fastest / easiest (though you will probably wnat to learn how to do it yourself eventually). The rebuild kit for mine was ~90.00 from Randaak's cycle (fast shipping) w/ all the o-rings and gasket / rubber parts you need. I bought a "spare" on E-bay to practice on and have as a backup for spare parts in case I really messed up... I'd be glad to try and help you if it helps, but may not be a quick up-fix-home trip...
