Odd I thought Interstator was on the list. He's in Lacrosse. Now I know who to call if I get stuck in your neck of the woods. I hear the twisties are great.

-City and state (For security reasons, please do not include your address.)

Kennesaw GA (A little north of Atlanta)

    -Forum name

    TonyR

    -Name

    Tony

-Day/Evening/Cell numbers (If you want to obscure the numbers (i.e. "Six-1-two...") I'll use you're format.)

    four 0 four 2 seven 1 three 1 one 4

-Email address (I'll format all emails as "randall (dot) temple (at) bigfoot (dot) com" to thwart the email harvest-bots, unless you specifically ask for something different.)

    acstony2001 (at) yahoo (dot) com

-What you have to offer (truck/trailer, tools, spares, manuals, access to dealer/parts vendor, lodging, etc.)

Truck (with ramps but they are steep), tools (enough but not a full shop), limited garage space,

sleeper couch (if you can put up with my clutter), manuals, not a whole lot in spares but we can see

what we can figure out. There are two dealers not toooo far from my house and a good mechanic (fixes all my friends stuff) closer than either dealer.

The twisties are great here - its why I bought the CX because Sue, my fiancee, learned quickly that her first 2-wheeler (a Yamaha Vino 49cc) wasn't going to work on the great back roads around here (plus, her bro-in-law bought a 1200 Harley Sportster) and she bought a very clean '78 CB400A. I started looking for something to ride with her (my 200cc Lifan enduro is geared too low), saw a '78 CX that I liked but passed on and wound up buying a '79D that is the current project bike (and will have Murray's Mikunis on it in honor of the aforementioned Harley that needs smoking). This fall I bought a nicely-running '78 CX and we did get out some and its great.

There's a really twisty, fun ride that starts only about 10 minutes from the house and goes as long as you like....up towards Black River Falls is a great ride.

If you get over this way to ride and need a place to stay or help, get in touch...or if you want someone to ride with, too...

He's on the old list on the old forum. I didn't copy any contacts to the new list (some listed members didn't come over to the new forum), and he hasn't posted in this thread.

EDIT: After looking, he's not there after all.

Hmmm, I didn't realize I wasn't on the list. Of course I can help too in western or southwestern Wisconsin! I have a trailer, bike lift, tire tools, some spares, etc.. I can offer emergency lodging too.

I think between Victor and myself anybody breaking down near La Crosse would be well taken care of. And yes, the twisties around here are world-class fantastic, and there are literally thousands of destinations for an afternoon ride. The winters bite, but riding season here can't be beat!
