Not in my shop Mister. I may send some to the Rally site from time to time, but none for me. I need all my brain cells functional 24X7.

Here's some background for you. When I was 18 I started driving a delivery truck for my Father's business of wholesale distribution. At one of my countryside stops I went to a bar and set the package on the floor.
While waiting for payment, I noticed an old man sitting at the bar, drinking a beer, smoking a cigarette and coughing. I asked him if he had any advice for someone my age who had never smoked or drank alcohol before.
He turned to me, looked me right in the eye and said, "Yes, don't EVER start."
As I went through the decades of my life I saw evidence of the wisdom of that advice. Dead friends, failed marriages, etc. The substance abuse rampant in society is destroying a generation. I can sit back and watch it knowing I made the right choice for myself. I have never spent a night in a hospital or a jail cell.
Everybody needs a way of letting off steam or forgetting about life for a while, but when you combine the various methods with motorcycling, it can prove to be not conducive to longevity.
    Stay thirsty my friend.

They are still there and working as intended. The bike is running like new, no problems. But, I'm driving next year.

Hey Phil, can you find any midnight moon in Vermont?

Hi Chili, I have not looked for any but I'm sure it's here. I found the coffee brandy though.

It turns out I will NOT be able to attend this year's rally. There is a big wedding in the works to take place on August 17, right midway during our rally period (9-21 Aug). My daughter is to be maid of honor, and I might be called upon to do some of the music. In any case, I'll do what I can to make sure the keys to the camp get directed to someone (Cobram? or ???) in time for opening day.

Wow, that's a bummer! Won't be the same without ya, my friend. Oh well, at least Kieth & the Canadians will be there to get into trouble with. Sounds like a '60's rock band name. lol

Why don't you just tell the bride and groom that you might have to miss this wedding but you'll definitely make their next ones? ;-)

From looking at my calendar, there's one day between the Ottawa Misfits Rally end and the beginning of the Amish. As we discussed, I maybe wasn't going to be around for the first few days, but I don't foresee any problems with being there on day one and staying for the duration.

There are family circumstances which may come up, I'll try and get a feel for who will be at the Rally and when, just to cover the bases in case I have to be absent, they could cover just in case. Again, this is a worse case, aside from that I'll be there with bells one (well, not really, since I'm still waiting for someone to give me a gremlin bell for my bike. ;-)

I live on a one-way street that's also a dead end. I'm not sure how I got here, or how I'm going to get out.
