Between work and a rat's nest of wiring to suss out I wouldn't be able to get my CX anywhere soon. Perhaps in a few more weeks? Maybe aim for Backfire?
1980 CX500C with a TI ignition, bobbed and fitted with bits of other vintage bikes.
    To do:
    • Fabricate a battery / solenoid / ignition box (to hold something larger than an 8Ah battery).
    • Wire back in all the "unnecessary" stuff the PO removed: Kill switch, rear brake light switch.
    • Replace stator (all pins have connectivity to ground, battery won't charge)
    • Replace mechanical seal (coolant leaking from weep hole).
    • Replace rear lights (with something more visible).
    • Upgrade front brake (dual caliper swap).
    • Make "Heartache" engine plaques.

2013 CB500X for those times I really need to get there.

Challenged by just changing the oil

Themadman206, I believe the GL forks are a couple of inches longer than the CX forks and would need to be cut down to in length to be usable.
