I am heading out to Just short of St. Louis Missouri, as it says in the Title, got my GL500 in April been working on it as I rode for a commuter. I got it pretty much all the way I want it, except for a different Kickstand. Bike will be nearly fully loaded for the trip and will be in full leather, and in record breaking temps for this trip YAY me. Only seen a few of the non dressed out CX's out there and parts seems to be everywhere mine is fully dressed and mistaken for a Goldwind a lot. Any one wanting to meet up will be leaving Denver Saturday AM 3am MDT and arriving in Union MO. about 6 to 8pm CDT depending on how much I need to stop. I will be there till the 7th and will be traveling back on that day back to Denver. So either way anyone out and about hit me up will be down for a ride on the way to, while there or on the way back all good

Good luck. A few weeks ago I was all over St. Louis and stayed in a campground not far from union Mo.
If you're camping it's a nice place maybe 10 miles farther.

We had a bit of gear.
As for the goldwing thing. Sometimes it's easier to go with it than correct/inform people. They're both reliable bikes.

How was the trip? I just found this thread today. I live real close to the campgrounds Blindstitch mentions, and am just east of Union. If I had seen this earlier, we could have met up for a chat and a ride.
