Did you get what you needed for your motor? I'm stoked to see the end result!

I do have what I need but am struggling with the clutch seating correctly. I think it now may be as simple as not torquing the basket center nut accurately as I don't have the Honda clutch nut tool. Hammer and a screwdriver isn't cutting it.

I'm off to a hardware store today to see if they have a metric nut that would fit. Then I can use my TQ wrench as usual. I dug through my metric stash bin last night and had a nut almost perfect, just slightly too small though.

Quick update, the bike is alive! I finally started it, ran through the gears while up on the center stand and let it heat up fairly well. The clutch engaged and shifted perfect. It ran super great, started with very little choke and didn't leak any fuel, water or oil (thus far anyway). It was so nice to not hear the clank of a bad rod bearing or slapping timing chain.

I'm pleased, but still need to tweak a few electrics, then finish the seat and paint the tank. Now that I know it runs and the engine appears to be sounds, I'll dig back in and get this on the road, under my butt!

Well it's about time! Seems like I've been following this build forever... ;)
Agreed, well done, more Pic please, been a long time coming for my build too, so many nuts and bolts so little time

nice project,
let's see whos GL runs first :)

(my orange GüllepumpemBobber also took 14month from start to finish) for the new bike it's just 4weeks left, untill my girl wants to ride it with me.
